Databunker is a privacy-first, secure, and compliant vault for personal data. It allows users to manage and store their personal data with complete privacy and control. In this tutorial, we will learn how to install Databunker on Alpine Linux Latest.
Before we move on to the installation process, there are a few prerequisites that we need to fulfill:
The first step is to install the required packages needed for the installation of Databunker. To install the packages, run the following command on your terminal:
$ sudo apk add libc-dev gcc make perl
Now that we have installed the required packages, it's time to download and install Databunker on our machine. Follow the below steps for the same:
$ wget https://github.com/securitybunker/databunker/releases/download/v1.0.48/databunker-v1.0.48-alpine.tar.gz
$ sudo tar -xf databunker-v1.0.48-alpine.tar.gz - C /usr/local/bin/
$ sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/databunker
$ databunker
Databunker needs to be configured before using it. Follow the below steps to configure Databunker:
$ sudo nano /etc/databunker.yaml

Once your configuration is created, you can start Databunker using the following command:
$ sudo databunker start
