Micro is a modern and intuitive terminal-based text editor that is designed to be easy-to-use and customizable. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Micro on Alpine Linux latest.

sudo apk update && sudo apk upgrade
In order to install Micro on Alpine Linux, we need to install a few dependencies. Run the following command to install the dependencies:
sudo apk add curl git ncurses-dev ctags gcc
Now, we will download the Micro text editor on our system using the following command:
curl https://getmic.ro | sudo sh
This command will download Micro and place it in the /usr/local/bin directory.
