Psono is an open source password manager that helps you manage your passwords and other confidential information. The following tutorial will guide you through the installation process of Psono on Alpine Linux.
First, it is essential to ensure that your system is up-to-date and that all necessary dependencies are installed. Run the following commands:
apk update
apk upgrade
apk add nginx php7 php7-fpm php7-json php7-curl php7-ldap php7-dom php7-xml openssl php7-session php7-mysqlnd composer
Next, you need to download Psono. You can do this by cloning the Psono repository from GitHub:
git clone https://github.com/psono/psono-server.git
Navigate to the Psono Server directory:
cd psono-server
Install the dependencies for Psono by running:
composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader --no-interaction --no-ansi
Generate an encryption key:
openssl rand -base64 30
Copy and paste the generated key into the config.yaml
file in the Psono Server directory:
gpg:

key_derivation_iterations: 100000
secret_key: <paste the generated key here>
password_reset_key: <generate a new key here>
Start the Psono Server:
php7 /path/to/psono-server/manage.py server run
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Psono on Alpine Linux. You can now access the web interface by visiting http://localhost:8081
in your web browser.
