In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing TimeTagger on Alpine Linux.
Before installing TimeTagger on Alpine Linux, make sure that you have the following prerequisites:
Before installing TimeTagger, we need to install some required dependencies.
Open your terminal and run the following command to install the required dependencies.
apk add --no-cache git cmake make gcc g++ libx11-dev libxext-dev libxrender-dev libxtst-dev libxi-dev libxcb-render-util0-dev libxcb-render-util0-dev libfontconfig-dev libxft-dev libxinerama-dev libopenal-dev libudev-dev libusb-dev
Open your terminal and run the following command to clone the TimeTagger repository.
git clone https://github.com/nukesor/timetag.git
Navigate to the TimeTagger directory using the following command.
cd timetag
Run the following command to compile and install TimeTagger.
mkdir build
cd build
cmake .. && make -j$(nproc)
sudo make install
Now that TimeTagger is installed, launch it by running the following command.
timetagger
