Haroopad is a markdown editor that supports various syntaxes and themes. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing Haroopad on Arch Linux.
Before installing any software, it is recommended to update your system. Open the terminal and run the following command:
sudo pacman -Syu
Enter your password and wait for the system to update.
Haroopad requires several dependencies to be installed on your system. Run the following command to install them:
sudo pacman -S qt5-base qt5-webengine git
Enter your password and wait for the dependencies to be installed.
Next, we need to clone the Haroopad repository to our local system. Run the following command:
git clone https://github.com/rhiokim/haroopad.git
Wait for the cloning process to finish.
Navigate to the cloned directory using the terminal:
cd haroopad
Next, build and install Haroopad using the following commands:
qmake
make
sudo make install
Wait for the build and installation process to finish.
Once the installation is complete, you can launch Haroopad from the terminal by running the following command:
haroopad
Alternatively, you can launch Haroopad from your system's application launcher.
