JARR is a tool for managing remote servers and deploying applications. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps required to install JARR on Clear Linux Latest.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following:
Before we install any new software, it's always a good idea to update our system first. Open a terminal and run the following command to update Clear Linux Latest:
sudo swupd update
JARR requires Java to run. If you don't already have it installed, you can install it by running the following command in a terminal:
sudo swupd bundle-add java-runtime
Next, we need to download and extract JARR. Open a terminal and run the following commands:
wget https://github.com/yacekmm/JARR/releases/download/v1.5.0/jarr-1.5.0.zip
unzip jarr-1.5.0.zip
This will download and extract the JARR archive to a directory named jarr-1.5.0
.
By default, JARR will store its configuration files in the ~/.jarr
directory. If you want to change this, you can edit the jarr.conf
file located in the jarr-1.5.0
directory.
To start JARR, navigate to the jarr-1.5.0
directory in a terminal and run the following command:
./jarr.sh
This will start the JARR server. You can now access the JARR web UI by opening a web browser and navigating to http://localhost:8080
.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed JARR on Clear Linux Latest! You can now use JARR to manage remote servers and deploy applications. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, feel free to consult the official JARR documentation at https://1pxsolidblack.pl/jarr-en.html.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
