Microweber is an open-source CMS (Content Management System) that makes it easy for users to create, post and manage their content online. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Microweber on Clear Linux Latest.
To follow this tutorial, you will need:
Start by updating your Clear Linux Latest system. You can do this by running the following command in the terminal:
sudo swupd update
This command will update all the packages on your system to their latest versions.
Microweber requires a few packages to be installed on your system. Use the following command to install them:
sudo swupd bundle-add php-basic devpkg-openssl devpkg-gd devpkg-zip devpkg-xmlrpc
This command will install the required dependencies.
Now that you have installed the required dependencies, you can proceed to download and install Microweber. Follow the steps below:
/var/www/html
directory using the following command:sudo tar -xvf microweber*.tar.gz -C /var/www/html/
sudo chown -R www-data: /var/www/html/microweber
To access Microweber via a web browser, you need to configure your web server. Clear Linux Latest uses Apache HTTP Server as the default web server. You can configure Apache using the following steps:
sudo nano /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
DocumentRoot
directive and change it to the following:DocumentRoot "/var/www/html/microweber"
Directory
directive and change it to the following:<Directory "/var/www/html/microweber">
AllowOverride
directive to All
. This will allow .htaccess files to override Apache configuration settings.AllowOverride All
Save and close the file.
Restart Apache using the following command:
sudo systemctl restart httpd
Now that you have installed Microweber and configured your web server, you can access it via a web browser. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost/
.
You will see the Microweber installation screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
