NeonLink is an open-source tool for securely transferring files over the internet. If you are a Clear Linux Latest user and want to install NeonLink, this guide will show you how to do it step-by-step.
Before installing NeonLink, make sure that the following dependencies are installed on your system:
Start by opening the terminal and updating Clear Linux packages:
$ sudo swupd update
Once the update is finished, install Python3+:
$ sudo swupd bundle-add python3-basic
Finally, install pip3 using the following command:
$ sudo pip3 install --upgrade pip
Next, clone the NeonLink repository from GitHub using the following command:
$ git clone https://github.com/AlexSciFier/neonlink.git
This will create a directory named "neonlink" in your current working directory.
Navigate to the "neonlink" directory by using the following command:
cd neonlink
To install NeonLink, run the following command:
$ sudo python3 setup.py install
This will install all the required packages and dependencies.
After the installation is complete, you can test NeonLink by uploading a file to a remote server. To do this, type the following command in your terminal:
neonlink upload /path/to/local/file --remote "https://example.com/receive.php"
Make sure to replace the remote URL with the URL of your remote server.
If the file is uploaded successfully, you will receive a NeonLink link that you can use to download the file.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed NeonLink on Clear Linux Latest. You can now use NeonLink to transfer files securely over the internet.
