In this tutorial, we will go through the steps to install MedusaJS on Debian Latest.
Before we can install MedusaJS, we need to ensure that Node.js and npm are installed on our system:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nodejs npm
Once Node.js and npm are installed, we can proceed to install MedusaJS. We can do this easily using npm:
sudo npm install -g medusajs
This will install MedusaJS globally on the system.
To verify that MedusaJS has been installed correctly, run the following command:
medusa --version
This should output the version of MedusaJS installed on the system.
To create a new project, run the following command:
medusa new <project-name>
Replace
This command will create a new MedusaJS project in a directory with the same name as your project.
Once the project is created, navigate to the project directory and start the development server:
cd <project-name>
medusa start
This will start the development server on http://localhost:8080.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed MedusaJS on Debian Latest and created a new project with it. Now it's time to start building your application!
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
