Doozerd is a highly available, distributed data store. Here's how you can install it on your Elementary OS system:
Before you begin, make sure you have the following prerequisites:
Open a terminal window on your Elementary OS system
Install the required packages with the following command:
sudo apt-get install build-essential git mercurial protobuf-compiler -y
git clone https://github.com/ha/doozerd.git
cd doozerd
make
sudo make install
doozerd --version
If the installation was successful, the output should display the version number.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Doozerd on your Elementary OS system. You can now use Doozerd to create highly available, distributed data stores.
