Karaoke Eternal is a karaoke player software that allows you to sing and record your favorite songs. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to install Karaoke Eternal on Elementary OS.
First, navigate to the Karaoke Eternal website and download the latest version of the software.
Before we can install Karaoke Eternal, we need to make sure that a few dependencies are installed. Open your terminal and type the following commands:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libopenal-dev libvorbis-dev
Once the dependencies are installed, extract the Karaoke Eternal archive that you downloaded earlier. You can either do this by right-clicking on the archive and selecting "Extract here" or by using the following command in your terminal:
tar -zxvf karaoke-eternal-vX.X.X.tar.gz
Replace X.X.X with the version number of the archive that you downloaded. This will create a new folder called karaoke-eternal in your current directory.
Now that we have extracted the archive, we can install Karaoke Eternal. Navigate to the karaoke-eternal folder that was created in the previous step and run the installation script as follows:
cd karaoke-eternal
./install.sh
This will install Karaoke Eternal on your system.
To run Karaoke Eternal, simply open your Applications menu and search for "Karaoke Eternal." Click on the icon to launch the software.
Congratulations! You have installed Karaoke Eternal on Elementary OS. You can now start singing and recording your favorite songs.
