How to Install PhotoPrism on Elementary OS Latest

Step 5: Change the ownership of the directory

Next, change the ownership of the /opt/photoprism directory to the current user using the following command:

sudo chown -R username:username /opt/photoprism

Step 6: Create a systemd service file

To make PhotoPrism run as a background service, create a systemd service file using the following command:

sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/photoprism.service

Copy and paste the following contents into the editor:

WorkingDirectory=/opt/photoprism/
ExecStart=/opt/photoprism/photoprism

Step 7: Reload systemd and start PhotoPrism
