How to Install Plainpad on Elementary OS Latest

Step 1: Download Plainpad

  1. Go to https://alextselegidis.com/get/plainpad/ in your web browser.

  2. Click the "Download for Linux" button.

  3. Select "Download for Debian/Ubuntu" from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click the "Download " button to download the Plainpad ".deb" file.

Step 2: Install Plainpad

  1. Open your terminal by pressing "Ctrl + Alt + T" or by searching for "Terminal" in the Applications menu.

  2. Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file by typing the following command in the terminal:

    cd Downloads/
    

    Note: Replace "Downloads" with the name of the directory where you saved the Plainpad ".deb" file.

  3. Install Plainpad by running the following command in the terminal:

    sudo dpkg -i plainpad_1.0.1-1_amd64.deb

Step 3: Launch Plainpad
