This tutorial will guide you through the installation process of PukiWiki on Elementary OS Latest.
PukiWiki requires a web server with PHP support to run. So, the first step is to install Apache and PHP on your system. Open the terminal and run the following command to install Apache and PHP:
sudo apt-get install apache2 php
Visit the PukiWiki download page here and download the latest release in zip file format.
Go to the directory where you downloaded the PukiWiki zip file and extract it to the document root of your web server. You can use the following command to extract the file:
unzip pukiwiki-<version>.zip -d /var/www/html/
Replace <version> with the version number you downloaded.
The web server needs to have permission to access the PukiWiki directory. You can change the ownership of the directory to the web server user using the following command:
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html/pukiwiki/
Finally, access PukiWiki by visiting the following URL in a web browser:
http://localhost/pukiwiki/
