Before starting the installation process, it is important to update the system packages to their latest versions. Open a terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T or using the Applications menu.
In the terminal, type the following commands one by one and press Enter:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Veloren is available for download via the Flatpak platform. If you already have Flatpak installed, you can skip this step.
In the terminal, type the following command and press Enter:
sudo apt install flatpak
Veloren is not available in the official Flatpak repositories. We need to add the Flathub repository where Veloren is stored.
In the terminal, type the following command and press Enter:
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
In the terminal, type the following command and press Enter:
flatpak install flathub io.veloren.veloren
After the installation, you can launch Veloren from the Applications menu or from the terminal using the following command:
flatpak run io.veloren.veloren
