Installing form.io on Elementary OS latest

Step 1: Install Node.js

Before installing form.io, make sure that Node.js is installed on your system. If not, follow these steps to install Node.js:

  1. Open the terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T or by searching for it in the Applications menu.

  2. Type the following command and press Enter:

sudo apt-get install nodejs
  1. Once the installation process is complete, check the version of Node.js by typing the following command:
node --version

This will display the version of Node.js installed on your machine.

Step 2: Install form.io

Now, you can install form.io on your system using the following steps:

  1. Open the terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T or by searching for it in the Applications menu.

  2. Type the following command and press Enter:

sudo npm install -g formio

This command will install form.io globally on your system.

  1. Once the installation process is complete, you can verify whether form.io is installed or not by typing the following command:
formio

This command will show you the list of available commands in form.io.
