Hospital Run is an open-source hospital management system that helps healthcare facilities manage their operations effectively. In this tutorial, you will learn how to install Hospital Run on EndeavourOS, which is based on the Arch Linux distribution.
HospitalRun is built using the Node.js runtime environment, which is not installed by default on EndeavourOS. So, first, we will install Node.js and other required packages using the following commands:
sudo pacman -Syu
sudo pacman -S nodejs npm git wget
Next, we will download the latest version of Hospital Run from GitHub. You can use the following command in the terminal to download it:
git clone https://github.com/HospitalRun/hospitalrun-frontend.git
Now, navigate to the downloaded Hospital Run directory:
cd hospitalrun-frontend
Hospital Run utilizes several npm packages. We will use the following command to install them:
npm install
Once all the necessary anpm packages are installed, we can start the Hospital Run server using the following command:
npm start
You will find the application running at http://localhost:3000
.
