To install Docker and Docker-Compose, run the following commands in your terminal:
sudo dnf -y install docker
sudo systemctl start docker
sudo systemctl enable docker
sudo dnf -y install docker-compose
To download and install Budibase, follow the steps given below:
Create a directory /opt/budibase
using the command sudo mkdir -p /opt/budibase
Change the directory to /opt/budibase
using the command cd /opt/budibase
Download the latest release of Budibase from the official website using the command:
sudo curl -L https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/releases/download/latest/budibase.tar.gz -o budibase.tar.gz
Extract the downloaded budibase.tar.gz
archive using the command sudo tar xvf budibase.tar.gz
Change the ownership of the extracted files to the current user using the command:
sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /opt/budibase
To start Budibase, navigate to the /opt/budibase
directory and run the following command:
sudo docker-compose up -d
This will start the Budibase application and its dependencies in the background.
To access the Budibase dashboard, open a web browser and navigate to http://<server-IP>:8083
. Make sure to replace <server-IP>
with the IP address of your Fedora CoreOS server.
