In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing DD-WRT on Fedora CoreOS Latest.
Before proceeding, make sure you have the following:
Extract the downloaded DD-WRT firmware on your computer.
Connect your computer to your router via an Ethernet cable.
Open your web browser and navigate to your router's IP address.
Log in to your router's admin interface. The default username and password are usually "admin" and "password" respectively.
In the router's admin interface, navigate to the "Firmware Upgrade" or "Administration" section.
Select the extracted DD-WRT firmware and upload it to the router.
Wait for the router to install the DD-WRT firmware. This process may take a few minutes.
Once the DD-WRT firmware is installed, the router will automatically restart.
When the router restarts, it will now be running the DD-WRT firmware.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed DD-WRT on your router running Fedora CoreOS Latest. With DD-WRT installed, you can now enjoy advanced features and customization options that were not available with the router's default firmware.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
