In this tutorial, we will go through the steps required to install Podgrab on Fedora CoreOS Latest.
Firstly, we need to update the system to make sure we have the latest packages and dependencies installed. Run the following command:
sudo dnf update -y
Podgrab requires a few dependencies to run. We can install them using the following command:
sudo dnf install -y libatomic libgomp libstdc++-static
Next, we need to clone the Podgrab repository from Github using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/akhilrex/podgrab.git
This will create a directory named podgrab
in the current working directory.
Now we need to build and install Podgrab. Change into the podgrab
directory by running the following command:
cd podgrab
Then, we need to build the application using the following command:
make build
This will build the Podgrab binary and place it in the dist
directory.
Finally, to install Podgrab, run the following command:
sudo make install
This will install Podgrab on your system.
To verify that Podgrab has been installed correctly, you can run the following command:
podgrab --version
This should output the version of Podgrab that you have installed.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Podgrab on Fedora CoreOS Latest.
