Stump is an open-source debugging tool developed for iOS. It helps developers to debug and analyze iOS apps in a more efficient way. In this tutorial, we will learn how to install Stump on Fedora CoreOS Latest.
Before we start with the installation of Stump, make sure that you have the following prerequisites fulfilled:
Stump requires some dependencies to be installed on your system before it can be installed. Open a terminal and run the following command to update the package repositories:
sudo dnf update
Next, install the required dependencies using the following command:
sudo dnf install unzip wget xz qt5-qtwebkit-devel
Now that the dependencies are installed, we can proceed with Stump installation. Follow the steps below:
wget https://stumpapp.dev/releases/latest/download/stump_linux.zip
This will download the Stump Linux version in .zip format.
unzip stump_linux.zip
sudo mv Stump /opt/
We need to create a symlink for the Stump binary so that we can access it conveniently.
sudo ln -s /opt/Stump/bin/stump /usr/local/bin/stump
To verify that the installation is successful, run the following command:
stump --version
This will print the Stump version details if everything is installed correctly.
Congratulations! You have now successfully installed Stump on Fedora CoreOS Latest. You can now use it to debug and analyze iOS apps.
