CloudStack is an open-source cloud computing software that allows users to manage cloud environments through an intuitive web interface. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the installation process of CloudStack on Fedora Server Latest.
Before starting the installation process, make sure you have the following:
CloudStack requires Java to be installed on your system. Follow the steps below to install Java:
sudo dnf update
sudo dnf install java-latest-openjdk-devel
java -version
CloudStack requires a MySQL database to store its data. Follow the steps below to install and configure MySQL:
sudo dnf install mysql-server mysql
sudo systemctl start mysqld.service
sudo mysql_secure_installation
sudo dnf install cloudstack-management
sudo cloudstack-setup-management
Follow the prompts to set up the CloudStack management server. When prompted, enter the MySQL root password you set in Step 2.
Once the configuration is complete, start the CloudStack management server by running:
sudo service cloudstack-management start
http://localhost:8080/client
.You have successfully installed CloudStack on Fedora Server Latest. You can now manage your cloud environment through the CloudStack web interface.
