Before proceeding, make sure you have the following:
Open the terminal application and run the following command to install Git on your system:
sudo dnf install git
Clone the Tanoshi repository from GitHub by running the following command:
git clone https://github.com/faldez/tanoshi.git
Change the directory by running the command:
cd tanoshi
Install the required Node.js modules by running the command:
npm install
Next, create a .env
file in the root directory. You can use the default settings by running the command:
cp .env.example .env
Edit the .env
file using your preferred text editor. You can set the DATA_DIRECTORY
to your preferred directory where your manga collection will be stored.
Finally, start the Tanoshi server by running the following command:
npm start
By default, Tanoshi listens on port 3000. You can access the server by opening a web browser and navigating to http://localhost:3000
