In this tutorial, you will learn how to install UberGallery on a Fedora Server.
Before you begin, you should have the following:
UberGallery requires Apache and PHP to be installed on your system. You can install them using the following command:
sudo dnf install httpd php
You can download the latest version of UberGallery from their website using the following command:
wget https://www.ubergallery.net/files/UberGallery_latest.zip
Once the download is complete, extract the zip file using the following command:
unzip UberGallery_latest.zip
To configure Apache, you need to create a virtual host for UberGallery. Create a new file in the /etc/httpd/conf.d directory with the following command:
sudo nano /etc/httpd/conf.d/ubergallery.conf
Add the following configuration to the file:
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName ubergallery.local
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/UberGallery
<Directory /var/www/html/UberGallery>
AllowOverride All
Require all granted
</Directory>
</VirtualHost>
Save and close the file.
Move the files to the web root:
sudo mv UberGallery /var/www/html/UberGallery
Restart Apache to apply the changes:
sudo systemctl restart httpd
Now, you can visit the URL http://ubergallery.local in your web browser to access UberGallery.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed UberGallery on Fedora Server Latest!
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
