Open the terminal application on your FreeBSD system.
Update the package repository by running the following command:
$ sudo pkg update
Install the linux-c7
compatibility layer by running the following command:
$ sudo pkg install linux-c7
Download JD Esurvey from the official website:
$ wget https://www.jdsoft.com/jd-esurvey-lin.tgz
Extract the downloaded archive:
$ tar -xzvf jd-esurvey-lin.tgz
Navigate to the extracted directory:
$ cd jd-esurvey-lin
Run the installation script:
$ sudo ./install.sh
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, you can launch JD Esurvey by running the following command:
$ jd-esurvey
Congratulations! You have successfully installed JD Esurvey on your FreeBSD system.
