How to Install JD Esurvey on FreeBSD Latest

Prerequisites

1. You must have administrative privileges on your FreeBSD system.
2. You must have an active internet connection.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the terminal application on your FreeBSD system.

2. Update the package repository by running the following command:

   $ sudo pkg update
   

3. Install the linux-c7 compatibility layer by running the following command:

   $ sudo pkg install linux-c7
   

4. Download JD Esurvey from the official website:

   $ wget https://www.jdsoft.com/jd-esurvey-lin.tgz
   

5. Extract the downloaded archive:

   $ tar -xzvf jd-esurvey-lin.tgz
   

6. Navigate to the extracted directory:

   $ cd jd-esurvey-lin
   

7. Run the installation script:

   $ sudo ./install.sh
   

8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

9. Once the installation is complete, you can launch JD Esurvey by running the following command:

   $ jd-esurvey
   

Congratulations! You have successfully installed JD Esurvey on your FreeBSD system.
