In this tutorial, we will cover the steps needed to install kcal on FreeBSD Latest. 
Prerequisites
- A FreeBSD Latest operating system
- A terminal or shell with sudo access
- An internet connection to download the required packages
Steps
- Open the terminal on your FreeBSD Latest system by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T.
- Ensure your system is up-to-date by updating the package repository. Run the following command:sudo pkg update
 
- Install the necessary dependencies for kcal. Run the following command:sudo pkg install cmake git qt5-base pkgconf libical libkf5calendarcore libkf5calendarsupport libkf5calendarutils libical-glib
 
- Once the packages have been installed successfully, clone the kcal repository using git. Run the following command:git clone https://github.com/kcal-app/kcal.git
 
- Change the directory to the cloned repo using the command:cd kcal
 
- Generate the build files for kcal using cmake:cmake .
 
- Build the kcal executable using make:make
 
- Once the build is complete, install kcal:sudo make install
 
- After installation, run Kcal using the command below:kcal
 
Congratulations! You have successfully installed kcal on FreeBSD Latest.
