Homepage by Ben Phelps is a customizable browser start page that lets you add your favorite bookmarks, weather, and news sources. Here's how to install it on Kali Linux.
Before you start, ensure that you have the following:
Ctrl+Alt+T
.sudo apt-get install git
cd /path/to/directory/
git clone https://github.com/benphelps/homepage.git
cd homepage/
npm install
npm start
localhost:8080
to see your new homepage in action!To customize your homepage, navigate to the src/data
folder and open the settings.js
file. Here you can add your own bookmarks, news sources, and weather locations.
Once you have made your changes, save the file and restart the server using the command npm start
. Your changes will now be reflected on your homepage.
