This tutorial will guide you through the steps to install Maildrop on Kali Linux Latest.
Open a terminal and update and upgrade your system:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Install the dependencies required by Maildrop:
sudo apt install gcc make automake libc6-dev libpcre2-dev libssl-dev libdb-dev libicu-dev liblzma-dev
Download the latest version of Maildrop from the official website:
wget https://gitlab.com/markbeeson/maildrop/-/archive/v3.0.1/maildrop-v3.0.1.tar.gz
Extract the archive:
tar -xvf maildrop-v3.0.1.tar.gz
cd maildrop-v3.0.1
Compile Maildrop using the following commands:
autoreconf -i
./configure --prefix=/usr/local
make
sudo make install
To verify that Maildrop has been installed correctly, run the following command:
maildrop -v
