MedusaJs is a real-time, scalable, and fault-tolerant back-end framework for NodeJS. In this tutorial, we will be learning how to install MedusaJs on Kali Linux Latest.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following requirements met:
First, we need to install MedusaJs. Open the terminal and run the following command:
sudo npm i -g medusajs
This command installs MedusaJs globally on your system.
Now that we have installed MedusaJs, let's create a new project. Navigate to the directory where you want to create your project using the below command:
cd /path/to/your/project
Once you are in the directory, run the following command to create a new project:
medusajs init
This command initializes a new MedusaJs project in your current directory.
To start the server, run the following command in your project's directory:
medusajs start
This command starts the server using the default port 3000. You can change the port by specifying it after the start
command.
medusajs start -p 8080
This command starts the server on port 8080.
Congratulations! You have now installed MedusaJs on Kali Linux Latest and created a new project. You can now start building your scalable and fault-tolerant NodeJS applications using MedusaJs.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
