How to Install NewsBlur on Kali Linux Latest

NewsBlur is a web-based news reader that helps you read your favorite news sources in one place. It is available as a free and open-source software that supports RSS feeds, Atom feeds, and also has a social aspect to it. In this tutorial, we will discuss the steps to install NewsBlur on Kali Linux Latest.

Prerequisites

Before we begin, make sure you have the following prerequisites:

Step 1: Update system packages

Open a terminal window or SSH client and update the system packages by running the following command:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Step 2: Install required packages

Now, install some required packages needed to install NewsBlur:

sudo apt-get install git python python-setuptools python-dev python-pip

Step 3: Clone the NewsBlur repository

Clone the NewsBlur repository using git:

git clone git://github.com/samuelclay/NewsBlur.git

Step 4: Install NewsBlur dependencies

Now, navigate to the cloned directory and install the NewsBlur dependencies by running the following command:

cd NewsBlur
sudo python setup.py install
