Before installing Notifo on Kali Linux, it is necessary to install the required dependencies. Open the terminal and enter the following command to install git:
sudo apt-get install git
Now, it is necessary to clone the Notifo repository to your local machine. Enter the following command to clone the Notifo repository:
git clone https://github.com/notifo-io/notifo.git
After cloning the Notifo repository, navigate to the cloned directory and install the required Python dependencies. Enter the following command to navigate to the Notifo directory:
cd notifo
Now, install the Python dependencies using pip by entering the following command:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Before starting the Notifo server, it is necessary to create a configuration file. Enter the following command to copy the example configuration file:
cp config.example.py config.py
Finally, start the Notifo server by running the following command:
python notifo.py
That’s it! Notifo should now be installed and running on your Kali Linux machine. You can test if the server is working by visiting http://localhost:5000 in your web browser.
