Octopussy is an open source solution for IT inventory, monitoring, and management. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing Octopussy on Kali Linux Latest.
Before you begin, ensure that you have the following:
First, download the latest stable version of Octopussy from the official website octopussy.pm. Navigate to the Download page and download the .tar.gz
file.

This command installs Apache web server, SSL libraries, Perl libraries, SNMP, and PHP.

sudo cp etc/octopussy.cfg.example etc/octopussy.cfg

sudo bin/install.sh
The installation script will prompt you to configure the database settings and create an administrator account.
After the installation is complete, access Octopussy by navigating to http://localhost/octopussy/
. Login using the administrator account created during the installation process.
