PhotoPrism is an open-source photo management software that allows users to organize and share their photos. In this tutorial, we will be installing PhotoPrism on Kali Linux Latest using the command line.
Before we can install PhotoPrism, we need to make sure that all the required dependencies are installed. Open a terminal in Kali Linux Latest and run the following command:
sudo apt install -y git curl g++ make
Now that we have installed the required dependencies, we can clone the PhotoPrism repository. In the terminal, run the following command:
git clone https://github.com/photoprism/photoprism.git
After cloning the repository, navigate to the newly created photoprism
directory:
cd photoprism
Now we can install PhotoPrism by running the following command:
sudo make install
This command will install PhotoPrism and all its dependencies.
To run PhotoPrism, navigate to the photoprism
directory and run the following command:
./photoprism
This will start PhotoPrism and it will be accessible by opening a web browser and navigating to http://localhost:2342
.
After running PhotoPrism, you will be prompted to configure it using a web interface. Follow the instructions on the page to configure PhotoPrism to your liking.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed PhotoPrism on Kali Linux Latest. Now you can use it to manage and organize your photos.
