Syncloud is a free and open-source platform that helps you to easily set up and manage your personal cloud services. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Syncloud on Kali Linux.
Before installing Syncloud, it is recommended to update your system packages. Open the terminal and run the following command:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y
Syncloud is based on Docker, so we need to install Docker on Kali Linux. Run the following command in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install docker.io -y
Once the installation is complete, check the Docker version by running the command:
sudo docker --version
To download and run the Syncloud installer, we need to use the curl
command. Run the following command in the terminal:
curl https://syncloud.it/install | sudo bash
Wait for the installation process to complete.
After the installation, access the Syncloud web interface by opening your web browser and navigating to http://your-kali-ip:5000/
. You will be prompted to create a new account and setup your cloud services.
Follow the on-screen instructions to setup your Syncloud account and configure the cloud services that you want to use.
