How to Install Tiger VNC on Kali Linux

This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing Tiger VNC on Kali Linux Latest. Tiger VNC is a lightweight and high-performance VNC server and client that allows remote desktop access from one computer to another.

Step 1: Update the System Packages

Before installing Tiger VNC, it is recommended to update the system packages to their latest versions. Open the terminal and type the following command:

sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

Step 2: Install Tiger VNC Server

To install Tiger VNC Server, type the following command in the terminal:

sudo apt-get install tigervnc-standalone-server

This will install the Tiger VNC Server on your Kali Linux system.

Step 3: Configure Tiger VNC Server

After installing the Tiger VNC Server, we need to configure it to set the password for the VNC session. To do this, type the following command in the terminal:

vncserver

This will create a new VNC session and prompt you to set a password for it. Enter a strong password and confirm it.

Step 4: Access Tiger VNC Server

Once you have configured the Tiger VNC Server, you can start accessing it. To do this, you need a VNC client installed on your local system. You can use any VNC client, such as RealVNC, TightVNC, or UltraVNC.

In the VNC client, enter the IP address or hostname of the Kali Linux system, followed by the port number that the VNC server is running on (default is 5901). For example, if the IP address of the Kali Linux system is 192.168.1.100, you can access the Tiger VNC Server by entering:

192.168.1.100:5901

This will prompt you to enter the password that you set for the VNC session in Step 3.

That's it! You have now installed and configured Tiger VNC on Kali Linux Latest. You can now access the Kali Linux desktop remotely from any system using a VNC client.

Note: It is recommended that you use Tiger VNC over a secure network and take appropriate measures to protect your system against unauthorized access.
