Genea.app offers a genealogy research software for free that can be downloaded from their website https://www.genea.app/. You can do this on your Linux Mint by following these steps:
Before proceeding with the installation of Genea.app, make sure that your Linux Mint system is up to date by running the following command:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
First, we need to download and install several dependencies packages required for the Genea.app. We can use the following command to install them manually:
sudo apt install build-essential libgtk-3-dev libssl-dev libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev
