Gigablast is an open-source search engine that provides fast and accurate search results. This tutorial will guide you on how to install Gigablast on Linux Mint Latest.
Before starting with the installation process, ensure that your system has the following prerequisites:
Open the terminal and download the latest version of Gigablast using the following command:
wget https://github.com/gigablast/open-source-search-engine/archive/refs/tags/v1.0.0.tar.gz
Gigablast requires several dependencies, including gcc, make, libssl and zlib1g-dev. You can install these dependencies by running the following command:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gcc make libssl-dev zlib1g-dev
Once the dependencies are installed, extract the Gigablast archive using the following command:
