TeamMapper is an open-source web application that allows users to visualize and manage teams and their members. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install TeamMapper on Linux Mint Latest.
Before installing TeamMapper, make sure your system meets the following requirements:
First, clone the TeamMapper repository from GitHub using the following command:
$ git clone https://github.com/b310-digital/teammapper.git
This will create a directory called teammapper
containing the source code of the application.
Navigate to the teammapper
directory and run the following command to install the required dependencies:
$ cd teammapper
$ composer install
Copy the .env.example
file to .env
by running the following command:
$ cp .env.example .env
Edit the .env
file to add your MySQL credentials and other configuration settings as required.
Create a new database for TeamMapper using the following command:
$ mysql -u root -p
mysql> CREATE DATABASE `teammapper`;
Run the following command to migrate the database:
$ php artisan migrate
This will create the required tables in the teammapper
database.
Finally, run the following command to start the application:
$ php artisan serve
This will start the application on http://localhost:8000/.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed TeamMapper on your Linux Mint Latest system. You can now access the application by navigating to http://localhost:8000/ in your web browser.
