Before you proceed with the installation, make sure you have the following requirements:
Open a terminal window by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T
. Then, run the following command to update package lists:
sudo apt-get update
Execute the following command to install the required packages:
sudo apt-get install git python3 python3-pip
Clone the Woodpecker repository by running the following command:
git clone https://github.com/woodpecker-ci/woodpecker.git
Move into the woodpecker directory:
cd woodpecker
And then install woodpecker using pip:
sudo pip3 install .
You can verify the installation by running the following command:
woodpecker --version
