Cowyo is a simple web-based text editor that makes it easy to edit files and collaborate with others. With the following steps, you will learn how to install and run Cowyo on MXLinux latest.
Before installing Cowyo, you will need to install some software packages that are required for running it.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y git nodejs npm
Now that the required software is installed, you can download Cowyo from GitHub.
git clone https://github.com/schollz/cowyo.git
After downloading Cowyo, navigate into the cowyo directory and install the required NPM packages.
cd cowyo
npm install
Now that Cowyo is installed, you can start the application by running the start script.
npm start
By default, Cowyo will run on http://localhost:8050/. Open a web browser and navigate to this address to start using Cowyo.
