How to Install InfluxDB on MXLinux Latest

Step 2: Testing InfluxDB

Now that you have installed and started the InfluxDB service, you can test it by using the InfluxDB command-line interface (CLI).

1. Launch the InfluxDB CLI by executing the following command:

influx

2. Once you're in the InfluxDB CLI, execute the following command to create a new database named "test":

CREATE DATABASE test

3. Confirm that the database has been created by running the following command:

SHOW DATABASES

You should see a list of databases, including the test database that you just created.

4. You can exit the InfluxDB CLI by typing exit.
