Before proceeding with the installation of Mibew, it is important to ensure that all the packages on your server are up to date. To update the packages, run the following command as sudo or root user:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Mibew requires certain packages to be installed on your server. Run the following command to install the required packages:
sudo apt-get install apache2 mysql-server php libapache2-mod-php php-mysql php-cli php-gd php-mbstring php-xml unzip wget -y
Download the latest version of Mibew by running the following command:
sudo wget https://mibew.org/download.php?version=2.2.2 -O mibew.zip
Extract the downloaded Mibew ZIP file by running the following command:
sudo unzip mibew.zip -d /var/www/html/
Configure Apache to make Mibew accessible through a web browser. To do this, create a new Apache virtual host file with the following command:
sudo nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/mibew.conf
And enter the following configuration:

Next, enable the new virtual host by running the following command:
sudo a2ensite mibew.conf
Reload Apache with the following command:
sudo systemctl reload apache2
Create a new MySQL database and user by running the following commands:
sudo mysql -u root -p
# Enter your MySQL root password when prompted
CREATE DATABASE mibew;
CREATE USER 'mibewuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON mibew.* TO 'mibewuser'@'localhost';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
EXIT;
Replace password
with a strong and secure password.
Open your web browser and navigate to http://example.com/install.php
(replace example.com
with your domain name or IP address).
Follow the instructions on the screen to install Mibew, providing the MySQL database details as required.
Once the installation is complete, delete the install.php
file by running the following command:
sudo rm /var/www/html/mibew/install.php
You have successfully installed Mibew on MXLinux Latest. Login to the Mibew admin panel at http://example.com/operator/
