Step 1: Open the Terminal
To open the terminal, press CTRL + ALT + T
together. This will open the Terminal in the current window.
Step 2: Update the Packages
Once the terminal has opened, the next step is to update the packages. Use the following command to do this:
sudo apt-get update
Enter the password when prompted and press Enter.
Step 3: Install NewsBlur
After updating the packages, the next step is to install NewsBlur using the following command:
sudo apt-get install newsblur
Once you have run this command, you will be prompted to enter your password. After entering your password, press Enter to continue with the installation.
Step 4: Launch NewsBlur
Once the installation is complete, you can launch NewsBlur by typing the following command in the terminal window:
newsblur
Press Enter to launch NewsBlur.
Step 5: Configure NewsBlur
After launching NewsBlur, you will need to configure it with your account details. If you do not have an account, you can create one on the NewsBlur website.
After creating your account, enter your account details when prompted and start using the NewsBlur news reader.
