Rapidbay is a web-based torrent client that allows you to easily download and manage torrents directly from your browser. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Rapidbay on MXLinux Latest using the command line.
Before we begin, there are a few things you will need:
Open a terminal window on your MXLinux Latest machine.
Install git by running the following command in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install git
Clone the Rapidbay repository from Github:
git clone https://github.com/hauxir/rapidbay.git
Install Node.js and npm by running the following command:
sudo apt-get install nodejs npm
Navigate to the Rapidbay project directory by running:
cd rapidbay
Install the necessary packages using npm:
npm install
Launch Rapidbay by running:
nodejs app
By default, Rapidbay should now be running at http://localhost:3000
. You can access the user interface by opening a web browser and navigating to that URL.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Rapidbay on MXLinux Latest. You can now start downloading and managing torrents directly from your web browser.
