Before installing any new software, it's important to update the system to ensure that you have the latest packages and security updates. Open the terminal and run the following commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Enter your password when prompted and wait for the updates to complete.
Go to the Turtl download page and select the appropriate package for your architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). In this tutorial, we will download the 64-bit package using the terminal.
Open the terminal and run the following command to download the Turtl package:
wget https://turtl.it/releases/desktop/linux/turtl-desktop_lnx64_v0.7.4.tar.xz

sudo ./Turtl-0.7.4-x64.AppImage install
Once Turtl is installed, you can launch it from the terminal by running the following command:
turtl
Alternatively, you can search for Turtl in the application menu and launch it from there.
