In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Void on MXLinux Latest.
Void is an operating system built from scratch. It is a rolling release system and is well known for its speed and stability. It is a perfect choice for those who are looking for a lightweight and minimalistic operating system.
Before we get started, make sure you have the following:
Firstly, you need to download the Void ISO file from its GitHub page. You can download the latest version by visiting the following link:

Once you have downloaded the ISO file, you need to save it to your computer's hard drive.
Next, we need to create a bootable USB drive to install Void. For this, we will use the Rufus
tool. Rufus
is a free and open-source tool for creating bootable USB drives.
You can download Rufus
from its official website by visiting the following link:
https://rufus.ie/
After downloading Rufus
, insert your USB drive into your computer and launch Rufus
. Select your USB drive from the list of available devices.
Next, click on the Select
button next to the Boot selection
field, and choose the Void ISO file that we downloaded in the previous step.
Make sure that the file system is set to FAT32
, and click on the Start
button to begin the process. This may take some time.
After creating the bootable USB drive, restart your computer and enter the BIOS settings. In the BIOS settings, set your USB drive as the first boot device. Save the changes and exit the BIOS settings.
Your computer should now boot from the USB drive.
Once you have successfully booted from the USB drive, you will see the Void installation wizard.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install Void on your computer. You will be prompted to choose your keyboard layout, language, and timezone.
Next, choose the partitioning scheme for your hard drive. You can choose to use the entire disk or create custom partitions.
After that, set your root password and create a regular user account.
Once the installation is complete, remove the USB drive and reboot your computer.
That's it! You have successfully installed Void on MXLinux Latest. You can now start using Void and enjoy its speed and stability.
