Baserow has some dependencies that need to be installed before installing Baserow. You can install them using the following commands:
sudo pacman -S git npm postgresql python-pip
sudo npm install -g npm
After updating and installing dependencies, it's time to clone the Baserow repository using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/bramw/baserow.git
Navigate to the Baserow directory using the following command:
cd baserow
Create a virtual environment using the following command:
python -m venv venv
Activate the virtual environment using the following command:
source venv/bin/activate
Install Baserow using the following command:
pip install -r requirements/local.txt
Create a PostgreSQL user for Baserow using the following command:
sudo -u postgres createuser -s baserow
Create a PostgreSQL database for Baserow using the following command:
sudo -u postgres createdb baserow
Run the following command to migrate the database:
cd src/baserow
python manage.py run_migrations
Run the server using the following command:
python manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000
Open your browser and type http://localhost:8000/
in the address bar. You will see the Baserow dashboard.
