Installing Christmas Community on Manjaro

Christmas Community is a festive Minecraft resource pack developed by Wingysam. Here's how you can install it on Manjaro:

Prerequisites

  1. Make sure you have Minecraft installed on your system, along with the Minecraft Launcher.

  2. Ensure that Git is installed on your system. If not, you can install it by running the following command in the terminal:

sudo pacman -S git

Installation

  1. Open the terminal and navigate to the directory where you want to download the Christmas Community repository. You can do this using the cd command. For example, if you want to download it to your Downloads folder, run the following command:

cd ~/Downloads

  1. Clone the Christmas Community repository using the following command:

git clone https://github.com/Wingysam/Christmas-Community.git

  1. Once the repository is downloaded, open the Minecraft Launcher.

  2. Click on the "Installations" tab and then click "New" to create a new installation.

  3. Give the new installation a name (e.g., Christmas Community) and select the version of Minecraft you want to use.

  4. Under the "game directory" section, click "Browse" and navigate to the repository you just downloaded. Select the "src" folder within the repository as the game directory.

  5. Click "Create" to create the new installation.

  6. Select the Christmas Community installation from the drop-down menu in the Minecraft Launcher and click "Play" to start the game with the resource pack installed.
