Grafana is an open-source platform for data visualization, monitoring, and analysis that can be used with many different data sources, including Elasticsearch, Graphite, and Prometheus. In this guide, we will walk through the steps to install Grafana on Manjaro.
Before we get started, we need to make sure our system has the following components installed:
sudo privilegesBefore we start installing any packages, it is always a good idea to update our system's packages:
sudo pacman -Syu
Grafana is available in the official repositories, so we can install it using the pacman package manager:
sudo pacman -S grafana
Now that we have installed Grafana, we need to make sure that it is enabled and started as a service. Run the following command:
sudo systemctl enable --now grafana-server
This will enable the grafana-server service and start it, so it runs automatically after a system restart.
Grafana's web interface is available at http://localhost:3000. Open it in your web browser to access the login page. The default username and password are both admin.
