MailHog is an email testing tool which allows developers to test their email functionality without actually sending emails to real recipients. In this tutorial, we will go through the process of installing MailHog on Manjaro.
Before starting with the installation process, ensure that you have the following:
Open the terminal on your Manjaro system.
Clone the MailHog repository from GitHub by running the following command:
git clone https://github.com/mailhog/MailHog.git
Navigate to the cloned directory:
cd MailHog/
Build and run the MailHog image using Docker:
docker-compose up
This command will download and build the MailHog image, and start the container.
Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:8025/
. This will open the MailHog web interface and you can start testing your email functionality.
